Welcome to Rome - the capital of Italy and one of the most important cities in Europe. The city boasts a long history which is manifested in its art and architecture.
On arrival at the airport you will be transferred to your hotel. Check yourself in at the hotel. Remaining day is at your leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.
After a delicious breakfast, remaining day is at your leisure. However you have option to go for Colosseum and Ancient Rome Tour.
Your are requested to reach the meeting point 15 minutes prior to the departure of the tour. Those with walking disabilities should not opt for the tour. To arrive at the meeting point visit above the 2nd floor of the Metro B (Blue Line) stop “Colosseo”. After checking through the turnstiles of the Metro take an immediate right to the escalator/stairs. Upstairs above the metro there is a small square, from where we will pick you up.
Begin your tour with a visit to Oppian Hill, one of the famous “Seven Hills” that offers spectacular views of the Colosseum, one of the most impressive landmarks in Rome and the center of the ancient city. Walk down the hill and appreciate the beautiful surrounding while walking towards the Colosseum. Here we skip the line and walk past the crowds to start our guided tour. While exploring this wonderful Amphitheater, your guide will bring the scene alive with interesting recollections of ancient days, when Gladiators fought for their lives in front of baying crowds.
Further, make a short stop at the Arch of Constantine, which spans the Via Triumphalis, the route used by Emperors while returning to the city triumphant. Now, you will go to the most famous hill in Rome, Palatine Hill. The place offers spectacular views of the Forum and Nero’s Circus Maximus where spectacular chariot races were held. Further, walk down to the Via Sacra or Sacred Way which crosses Forum which was part of the ceremonial route taken by the Emperors.
Conclude your tour by visiting the temple where you will find the altar dedicated to Julius Cesar. The temple is visited by a large number of visitors who offer flowers and light candles. In the afternoon return to your resort and relax. Overnight stay at hotel.

The town has more than 20 historic religious buildings behind its massive medieval walls and fortress. You will also be taken to the wine cellar of Tenuta Poggio il Castellare where you will get pampered with a traditional Tuscan lunch and taste three local wines.
Walk through the beautiful streets of Pienza, a town which is a fine examples of great urban planning. Pienza also commands the glory of being the home town of Pope Pius II. Under his regime the town was demolished and rebuilt as an‘ideal town’ featuring the finest Renaissance architecture. Pienza has also been declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Along the main street, you will find grocers watching grocers selling varieties of pecorino cheese as well as antique shop on the main street is an experience in itself.
Next in your itinerary is a visit to Montepulciano, the town that receive several footfalls for its timeless beauty, impressive architecture and excellent wines. Situated at the heart of the town is the Piazza Grande, dominated by the cathedral that houses priceless religious works of art. The town is also home to some impressive civil and religious buildings, including the emblematic Tower of Pulcinella. In the evening, return back to you resort and relax. Overnight stay at resort.
