In the morning set out for an excursion to the Elephanta Caves (Ferry tickets on direct payment). On returning in afternoon go for the sightseeing tour of the city that includes the Gateway of India, a monument built to commemorate the 1911 visit of King George V and Queen Mary to Bombay. Later go to visit the Mani Bhawan, the Old Mumbai residency of Mahatma Gandhi, a two-storied building that houses a 2000-book reference library of the Mahatma’s life. A visit to Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, formerly called as Victoria Terminus, a fine specimen of Victorian Gothic architecture is also part of your itinerary. This railway station is also considered the busiest railways stations in India. In the evening, return to the hotel for overnight stay.
In the morning check out from hotel and transfer to the airport to board flight to Udaipur. In the morning check out from the hotel and get transferred to city’s railway station to board the train to Jhansi. On arrival at Jhansi Railway station our representative will welcome you and drive you towards Khajuraho. On the way stop at Orchha, an ancient city situated on the banks of Betwa River.
