About British Airways Airlines

British Airways is the largest airline in the United Kingdom, created in 1974. A British Airways Board was established by the British government to manage the two nationalized airline corporations, British Overseas Airways Corporation and British European Airways, and along with them two regional airlines, Northeast Airlines from Boston and Cambrian Airways from Cardiff. British Airways Airlines has grown by leaps and bounds since its establishment. With their top-notch services, they have been drawing an ever-growing client base each year. British Airways' main office is headquartered at Waterside in the village of Harmondsworth, close to London Heathrow Airport. The Conservative Thatcher government issued instructions to the airline to get ready for privatization in 1981. Sir John King, later Lord King, was appointed chairman and charged with bringing the airline back into profitability. But in the end, it remains a public-sector airline. A lot of passengers keep coming back to British Airways to fly with them again and again. This just goes to prove how amazing the services offered by the airline are. They ensure that passengers have a congenial space because they think people require one when they travel by air. In the end, what matters is content passengers who are eager to fly with British Airways every time they travel!

British Airways – OneWorld Member

OneWorld was founded by British Airways in association with Canadian Airlines (which left the alliance a few years later by merging with British Airways), Cathay Pacific, and Qantas in the year 1999. Each group member has a unique style and service culture. These alliance members have banded together to offer better connections, improved infrastructure, communication, and other facilities. OneWorld has come a long way from when it only had 13 members.
